HAwaii nature Center Division project
At the division service project at Hawaii Nature Center, our club was in charge of being sorters of three jobs. In the pile of logs, vines, and sticks/branches, we had to separate them so that they can decompose the materials and clear the area they were occupying. Some of the logs were hard to take out with the vines covering it and being a larger size but with Bella’s and other Key Club member’s help, we were able to lift and remove the larger materials clearing out more area. At the end after lunch, we had a bunch of fun and interesting icebreakers. Some of these were doing scavenger hunts together while being tied, guessing music songs from only hearing the lyrics, and doing fruit basket. This was a lot of fun because I grew to be more comfortable with the people in the division and I became more excited for the next big social with everyone.

Kiwanis Key Club Social
September 16
Fun social at Magic Island to get to know Kiwanis and Key Club members in our district better!
"The social was great! The Kiwanis did a great job setting it all up for maximum fun and interaction. The games were all fun despite losing and being energy wasted after. It was great seeing old faces and new faces and meeting Kamehameha’s Key Club! They were great and I can’t wait for future events with them!"

Walk Like MADD
September 23
At MADD Hawaii's 6th annual Walk Like MADD event assisting staff with the refreshment tables or providing encouragement to walkers along the route. We also helped with photographing/videoing the event.
"It was inspiring to help serve water and cheer on so many people who were so motivated and united to support a cause! It definitely made the weekend better!"

"I had a great time at the Walk like MADD event. A ton of people showed up early that morning to participate, and the energy there was really beautiful. Everybody rallied to raise awareness on the intense and deadly issue of drunk driving, and I think this event really accomplished its goal. I helped take pictures of the event, and got to practice my photography skills. Overall, this event was really fun and I would recommend it for next year."
